GARY TRIES THE EXCAVATOR

Here at my horse ranch, we are going to build an indoor clay-court tennis pavillion. Well it needs to be 60'x120' and so if we flatten out some of my hillside, it gives me 20' more of land with which to build my tennis pavillion.

So Josh rented an excavator. There are a lot of handles and buttons and he let me try operating it, and as you'll see I can't do it.

He then got in it and decided to use it like a baseball bat and whack down a tree... check it out!

GARY AND MELISSA AT NFL GAME

I don't know much about football. "Thread the needle" is kind of a weird term that I heard while watching a Venus Williams match at the U.S. Open. Since I don't really watch football a lot, I was shouting one of the only terms I know. (Well that and "move the chains"). But the pass really was incomplete.

MY APARTMENT IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE

For two summers, I stayed here in Villefranche which is between Nice and Monte Carlo in French Immersion School. It is the most awesome vacation ever because you get an apartment and 9-5pm Mon-Sat it is all French Immersion. I would walk to school with my book bag and a banana in it, and I'd do my own laundry and cooking often and it is such a different life than I have when I am in North America. It's a very simple life and it reminds me of when I was a college student.
